I have been photographing people professionally since 1976. At that time, in Bellevue, Iowa, I owned and operated a small portrait studio. Since then I have photographed over 600 weddings and countless portraits. My background is in both fine art and portraiture. In 1988, I received my MFA from the University of Iowa. A portrait is a fine balance between the subject and the photographer. I work to make that happen.
