I am inspired by each person I photograph. It is a like having a conversation but with very few words. Natural light is key. Working with available light is exciting as it continually changes. The environment/location is also essential in the composition of the image. I enjoy working within the space . . . it adds to the feeling of the portrait. We can work indoors or out — anywhere that offers interesting lighting. Tell me

I can provide portrait images for CDs, book jackets and magazines. Past work for musicians has included the photograph for Dave Moore's CD release Breaking It Down To Three, and cover art/photos for Bo Ramsey, Greg Brown, David Zollo and Eric Straumanis. Author and poet photographs include Chris Offutt, Jorie Graham and Larry Levis.
Digital or film or both. For real film lovers — all is hand-printed and yes . . . the film, processing and printing is in addition to the Camera Session. Rates for single-sitting commissioned portraits are as follows:
One Person: $250
15-40 edited digital images viewed on-line or contact images (if
film). One custom printed 8x10 print is included. Additional person: $300.
Small Family Groups: $300
Simple and Fun (about an hour)
Large Family Groups: $200/hr
Various Arrangements (2 hours or more)
Children: $200 (1 hour) $300 (2 hours)
On location — in their environment — casual portraits, candids. Includes 25-75 edited digital images viewed on-line. One custom printed 8x10 print is included. One or several children.
CD of high resolution images are available after a minimum order.
Extensive Photo Session: $550-$1200 for one person - although a band can qualify.
One or more locations, one - two hours or more. Includes 75-150 or more digital images. The session will include all of the edited high resolution files on a CD. This is perfect for those who need digital files for the internet, publicity, posters, etc.
