Wedding Portrait Services

In 1976, I began my career as a Portrait/Wedding Photographer. I owned and operated a professional photography studio business — Sandy's Studio — for a dozen years in Bellevue, Iowa. Since then I have photographed nearly 600 weddings.

My style of wedding photography is to capture the excitement of the event creatively, in a journalistic fashion. I love natural light and natural settings. I also pose families and groups — but also in a natural way. I prefer not to work on the altar, but rather I enjoy working outdoors or in someone's home. I want to convey the spirit of the day, the details, humor and of course — the romance. Your wedding photographs will convey the spirit of your day, the details, humor, and romance. Wedding Coverage ranges from $1000 (one hour) - $5000. Art Leather Albums and custom prints are additional and are available ala carte. Prices vary based on length of event, type of event, and travel expenses. I am available to photograph the entire day, or any of your individual wedding events.
